Doors and windows
Fitting new doors, locks, letter openings, and other door hardware. Repair or adjustment of existing doors and windows. Replacement glazing in doors and windows from Victorian to modern. Draft proofing.
Plumbing
Minor plumbing works such as installing an outside tap, repairing or replacing taps, unblocking sinks, fixing or replacing toilet cisterns, plumbing in washing machines. Resealing baths, showers worktops etc.
Hanging stuff up
If you want something light or heavy hung on a wall or ceiling and you want it to stay up e.g. curtains, blinds, punch bags, pictures, shelves.
Carpentry/joinery
I can make, repair or install pretty much anything made of wood, MDF or chipboard, from sheds to shelves, from fences to furniture.
Decorating
Interior and exterior repair and decorating.
Flat pack
I find assembling flat pack quite relaxing and will happily do it for you.
Early years education
I was the maintenance manager for a group of childrens day care nurseries for 5 years and have extensive experience of providing handyman services to nurseries. I understand the particular requirements of nurseries.
